I draw inspiration for my paintings from everyday events and try to evoke the resulting emotion in my art. As a result, a lot of what I paint feels very personal to me. My preferred medium is oil on canvas with palette knives and brushes.

I took up painting a few years ago as a creative outlet to balance my professional work in the software industry. Painting helps me pay deeper attention to my surroundings and challenges me to distill my ideas into a creative medium. It is humbling, yet rewarding.

In addition to painting, I enjoy creating recipes, baking bread, growing my own produce, cooking a variety of cultural dishes, and food photography.   

I have a Master’s degree in Computer Science. I grew up in Bangalore, India and have lived and worked in the South Bay for most of my adult life.
